Frequently asked questions
WPNX 17 will need to be added at 4% with a doser or mixer to loads. It can also be hand mixed. Any existing equipment like extruders, injection molding machines, etc can be used with no modifications. A processing technician would need to change settings to reduce temperatures and cycle times accordingly.
When adding WPNX17 a hybrid material is created increasing tensile strength, flexibility, and durability. The results on the spec sheet will be changed depending on the recycled products used. There are no limitations to the end products created by adding WPNX17. The end product only becomes stronger and can be re-recycled indefinitely.
When using WPNX17:
contaminated material can be repurposed for profit, sorting costs are reduced,
increasing the yield by using polymers that were once unusable, reduced energy consumption by reduced cycle times,
reduced consumption in heating elements ex: if product runs at 40 seconds, then optimal would be to run at half (based on equipment capability.)
New Science is what WPNX17 represents to the world with our revolutionary technology in recycling polymers. There used to be just one way of thinking about the science or process of recycling polymers until WPNX17 was invented that is. Now there is unlimited possibilities with WPNX17 and this has changed the future of polymers forever, creating New science and the way we think about recycling polymers.
